Floral embroidery is probably the most omnipresent trend of late 2016-early 2017, and you don't hear me complaining - looks so cute on these espadrilles! I love the folky whimsy these give to any type of look, and the combo of green and fuchsia/red really helps to pull this outfit together. Proof that red and green doesn't have to come across as Christmassy! And that espadrilles like these are wearable beyond those three days a year when it's actualy summer weather in Belgium ;-)

Another print I'm feeling: these stripes. After years of feeling like the whole Breton stripe look was outplayed I'm totally into the look again. What was I thinking, stripes are totally adorable, especially in this white on bright red combo you don't see everyday. The popping red is like my way to pretend winter is over and the time has come for bold colours again. Fingers crossed for temperatures to rise again so I can wear these with a denim skirt and sans tights!
